My sole intention with the shaving cream was to have Connar have a new, fun way of practicing writing the letter "E". He did that....for about 2 minutes and then got lost in squishing the shaving cream in between his fingers ("It's soft. Like a cloud!") and giving himself a beard.
Although the activity didn't end up being centered around a school activity with the letter we're studying right now, it turned out to be a fun experience for him playing with a new texture. I'm not gonna lie, it was a hot mess...BUT I'd do it again in a heartbeat to see the smile on his face. :)
As you look through the following sequence of pictures, notice how the shaving cream starts on his finger tips, moves up to his elbows, up near his armpits, and eventually to his chin. Hilarious!
