So it has recently been consistently warm enough to go outside with short sleeves and no jackets. WOO HOO! Do you know how long we've been waiting on this weather? Seriously, I'm a Texas girl through and through, so to say that I was more than ready for my first full, real winter to be over with is no exaggeration.
We took the boys for a bike ride (thanks again, Santa!) and ended up playing in the sand for a bit.
It's a good thing I have a second bear for him that I hide in the closet and switch out with this one to wash at least once a week, because he doesn't go too many places without it. Sometimes he'll obey me when I tell him "Put the bear in your bed" on our way out the door, but sometimes, like on this day, he fussed when I suggested such an insane idea and demanded to balance himself on his bike with the bear in one hand and the cup in the other. What can I say...we pick our battles around here. :)
He has to slowly walk his bike down the ramp from the boardwalk to the sand....he learned his lesson about riding it down the ramp with his feet up a few visits before this. :)
I've loved this man for 13 1/2 years, and my adoration for him grows exponentially every time I see him take care of and love on our babies.
Hey there handsome.
I hope he keeps those cheeks forever. And those blue eyes? Really? Talk about love.
And this...this is what pure joy looks like.
They jumped and spun round and round and giggled over and over. Oh to play in the sand again!
Look at him digging those little piggies of his in the sand. Even dirty I want to just kiss all over his sweet, soft feet. He is such a doll baby and is soooo sweet. His kisses and hugs are out of this world.
And just to prove that I was there too, I had Talton take my picture. :) This is me, the happy mom and wife who is happy to be able to get outside in nice weather again. Thank you, Mother Nature!
