party favor??

My husband came home with this beautifully wrapped gift with a gift tag labeled "1st birthday party".  My curiosity was definitely peaked at this point...

It's a manicure set, people!

My husband explained that a girl at work who invited us to her daughter's 1st birthday party brought this to work to give him, because we didn't attend the party to receive it there.  Now that's a new one...a fancy manicure set as a party favor for a 1st birthday party!!  Nothing ceases to amaze me around here.  :)

I wonder what they'll give next year at her 2nd birthday.  Do you think it'll be anything like this party favor I made for Connar's 2nd birthday?  Aw come on, everyone loves cookies!
