Look what I found at the grocery store today! No, I'm not referring to the adorable, chubby baby hands.... I already owned those. :) I'm talking about the strawberries!!!!!!
This is the first time we've laid eyes on a strawberry since living in Korea. I guess you could say we took it for granted and were super spoiled that we have access to most fruits and vegetables year round in the U.S. where we're from. Strawberries were on my weekly grocery list for my kids in Texas, so they have definitely been missing these.
You should've seen C & P scarf these things down at lunch today! When I say they ate them faster than I could rinse them off and cut them up, I'm not lying. The entire top layer of this container is gone as we speak just from their lunches today. It's the little things that can make your day, you know? :)
I sure hope there are more there when I go back to Home Plus on Saturday, because I should probably go ahead and pick up two containers. :) The only downside is that they're 11,000 won which is at least double, if not more, than I would pay for this same size container of strawberries in Texas. Oh well. It's worth it to make my babies happy. :) Bring on the strawberries!
