She's baaaack!

After a full day of traveling from Houston to Dallas to Tokyo and finally to Busan (that's 3 planes, people!), my mom landed in Busan this evening.  Yay!  Welcome back GrammE!  All day long Connar kept saying, "Wet's go get GwammE."  "No, I don't want to do _____, I want to go to de airport and see GwammE."  "Are we goin to Houston to GwammE's howse today?"  Excited much?  We all were, really.  :)

When we got to the airport, we went potty so we wouldn't miss seeing her arrival by going on a potty run.  While I was in there, I spotted this on the wall, next to where they log the bathroom cleanings.  "CLEAN Designer"?  I'm not sure if that's a fancy way of saying cleaning lady, or if it means something completely different.  Either way, that's a pretty cool title in my opinion.

While we waited on my mom to walk through this arrivals door, we did a lot of waiting at this clear divider.

But there was also a lot of this going on...

...silliness
C making a face like the sculpture (picture below)

...running (followed by brief stints of laying on the floor, staring at the ceiling with outstretched arms, and briefly rolling on the ground like I've seen alligators do on Animal Planet when they're trying to get someone off their back)

...squishing faces up to the window

...and flying around like an airplane.

Then we finally spotted her toting all her luggage headed for the doors right in front of us!  SO EXCITING!!!!
She sees us too!
And this is when she saw the boys.  :)

When we got home, she told us she brought some of our Christmas presents so we wouldn't have to tote those back in our luggage in January.  :)
She framed this picture of us.  She took this picture of us the last time she was here, and it's actually the picture I have at the top of my blog.  Love it!  Because it was taken on one of our first days here in Korea as a family, it's pretty special to me.  Now this is sitting in our front entry.  :)
I can't wait to bust this baby open!  I bet you're jealous you don't live in Korea so you can get a piece of this!  :)
She also stuffed her suitcases full of clothes for the boys I ordered online and had mailed to her house (bigger sizes for next year, etc.), as well as food!  I swear she had packets of brown gravy stuffed in any nook and cranny available.  Too funny.

I bought these Texans slippers online for Talton a couple months ago, so I had her bring them too so he could start to enjoy them in this cold weather.  :)

Oh, one more thing to share!  I made this "Welcome back to Korea" basket for her.  I put in a bottle of wine she loves, some fruit and snacks so she doesn't think she'll starve while she's here, a Busan souvenir cup, and even some warm fuzzy socks I bought at the outdoor market to keep her tootsies warm.  :)

I'm thrilled that she's back here with us, because I missed my momma.  :)  Yes, I'm 31 and just called her "momma".  Whatever, people.  It's my prerogative.  I hope my boys still say sweet things like that about me when they're grown.  Another HUGE reason I'm so pumped that she's here is that that means we're that much closer to visiting family and friends in Houston.  I can't believe that she and I are going to pack up my two little guys 10 days from now and head back.  Christmas will be here before we know it!

I guess you could say that Christmas actually started early for us...today!  :)
