day 1 with DKRK (part 2 of 2)

After getting home from Yonggungsa Temple, the boys took a nap, and I took Kelsie, Ryan, and Kaylon over to Haeundae Market.  :)

You can barely see her, but there is a woman pulling that fully loaded cart full of recyclables...

 kimchi...

Then we wandered around the streets a bit...
We saw this guy wearing a sombrero from across the street, so we sent Kelsie over to take a picture with him...she was the one wearing the peace sign shirt after all.  :)

This lady saw us taking pictures on this street, and she called us over so they could take a picture with her.  :)
You've heard of beef jerky, but what about squid jerky?
 Don't ask because I don't know...

We spotted all this matchy matching going on in a span of like 30 minutes!

I'd like to introduce you to Thong Man.  Yes, that's his name.  He's sort of a local legend around here, because he is on Haeundae Beach in his thong for a good part of the year.  I've been trying to get a picture of him for a year now.  It has taken so long, because I didn't want to seem creepy taking a picture of him because we all know good and well why I'd be taking a picture of him....but I just had to share this!  Why he wears a thong (AND stands up on his jet ski as he rides around to show off his bum) is beyond me...so why he's now sporting TWO thongs at the same time...I can't even.

When we got home, nap time for the boys was over, but it was rest time for everyone else...

How adorable is this sequence?!....

Then it was "big boy baseball time".  These three could go round and round for hours.

Soon we set out for dinner at Blacksmith, our yummy Italian spot.

Parker couldn't get enough of his buddy and sat up close to him as we waited to be seated.  :)

When we got home from dinner, Parker doled out some lovin (sorry about the blurriness...but how could I not share this cuteness with you?!)...
...and then counted to ten for everyone, which is oh so exciting!

As you can see, the boys didn't miss a beat warming back up to everyone, which was awesome!
What a great first day with some of my favorite people!  :)
